Netscape Navigator 4.0 Internet Introduction




Course Aims
This course provides readers with a method of accessing this information and making best use of the tools at their disposal. Readers will be introduced to the concept of the Internet, often referred to simply as "The Web", and gain a broad understanding of how the Web works. They will become proficient at using the Netscape Navigator Web browser, learning how to search for, find and access information on the Web using a variety of different software tools. They will be able to communicate information with others by means of E-mail and Newsgroups.
Assumed Knowledge
A basic understanding of PCs and familiarity with the layout of a PC style keyboard, mouse and Windows is required, gained either by previous experience of using a PC or by attendance on a "Windows 3.1 User Introduction" course.;
